When I try to access the control panel, I get a page that says "The page cannot be displayed". What do I do?

This behavior usually occurs when your computer is behind a firewall, that blocks outbound traffic on the control panel port(port 2082). Many company firewalls block outbound traffic on uncommon ports for security reasons.

If you're unable to access the control panel because of a restrictive firewall, you'll want to use our control panel proxy.

The control panel proxy can be accessed by going to:

http://servername.hostgo.com/cpanel

NOTE: You'll need to replace "servername" with the name of the server your web site is hosted on. You can find the name of your server, at the bottom of the front page of your control panel. If you're unable to access the control panel to view your server name, please contact support@hostgo.com.

For example: If you're hosted on our "server310" server, you'll use the URL http://server310.hostgo.com/cpanel to access the control panel proxy.
